Dear Parents,
Due to the continuous interest and requests from players and parents to have a Mustangs jersey that they can purchase and keep for their own, The Mustangs Organization has come up with the following option:
Players will be able to purchase a Black Mustangs Jersey, including player name, number, and Mustangs crest that they can wear at home, to Sabres games, to school, to play street hockey, or any personal venue.
IT IS TO BE UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. I WILL REPEAT – COMPLETELY OPTIONAL!
We would like to offer this as a fun option for our players. The price of the jersey has not been confirmed, but will be approximately $75. Orders will be taken by teams and given to me. Then we will order all at once. There will be a deadline date each year and no orders taken after that date. This year we are looking at June 30th as the deadline.
If by chance the entire team orders a jersey, and orders their present player number, the team may use the black jerseys as a 3rd set for games. If this option is used, please be aware that when players move up to the next years playing level, they are not guaranteed the same player number and may not be able to use that particular black jersey as a team jersey again. AGAIN,
**THE TEAM
If it comes to the organizations attention that any player or parent is pressured into purchasing a black jersey, this team option will be suspended.
Please let your manager know if you are interested in ordering a jersey for your son/daughter. Give them the name, number, and size you would like to order.
This is a very exciting and fun option being offered to our players! As soon as I receive a confirmed price it will be passed along to you.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND COMMITMENT TO THE MUSTANGS ORGANIZATION!
Respectfully,
Alison LoVullo

The Mite Minor team continued its late season surge by wrapping up a playoff spot with a win over Monroe last Sunday. The last month has seen the team really start to jell and play some good hockey.
The teams playoff run starts with a game against Erie on Saturday, February 23 at 3:30pm in Batavia.
