The Clarence Mustang organization was well represented by the three teams traveling to Markham, ON to participate in the exhibition CAN/AM games on October 4th. Each team played two games each, for a total of six games (of which, the Mustangs won five and tied one!)
Our Squirt Major team beat the Markham Waxers 5-1 in their first game and then went on to beat the Stouffville Clippers 7-1 later in the day. All of the players and parents participating had a great time.
A big thanks to John Paterson for organizing this event!
A big thank you to Dawn and Howard Bolotsky for teaming up with Applebee's for a fun, successful fundraiser!

The Mustangs' third game, against the North Buffalo Bisons, proved to be a tighter matchup as Clarence posted a 1-1 tie thanks to Thur's goal off a pass from LoVullo.
The Mustangs' championship game saw them face Monroe (Rochester). Pavicich tallied his first goal of the tournament in the first period off assists from Thur and Buchbinder, while Clarence's second goal came in the second period from Buchbinder, assisted by Pavicich and Thur.
Mustangs' goalie Alex Camarre played well throughout the entire tournament, as he recorded three shutouts and allowed just one goal over the course of the tournament.
