The Mustangs started the first month of their 2008-2009 season with a 3-1 league record; good enough to put them on top of their division.
Victories against Perington, the Southtown Stars and the Bisons have given the team confidence as we roll into the second month of our schedule. The teams lone lose was a hard fought battle against the Wheatfield Blades.
We thank you for your continued support and send us any pictures you take that we can include on the website.

Each team played 2 games against 2 different Markham teams. The Mustangs faired well, coming away with a 5-0-1 record for the day.
Coaches, parents, and players all expressed the overall success of the trip as it was well planned, the games competitive, and the entire trip fun for everyone.
The Markham team was great and were gracious hosts...stay tuned as we will be looking to host Markham in the near future.

The Mite Major team had a number of players who worked hard during the off-season.
Chris Carle, Angelo Cammilleri, David Cosentino, Josh Graziano, and Ethan Kirbis were selected for the Buffalo Prospects Tournament team. In addition, Chris Cardillo and Brett Hull participated in the Prospects development program.
Ben Langolotz made a name for himself at the Tod Marchant Hockey camp this summer taking home the fastest skater awards for forward and backwards skating.
It wasn't just camps and clinics either, Nick Sykas wanted to improve his skating over the summer and worked out with a personal trainer to help him out.
Lastly, the team had a week of intense skating, puck handling, and conditioning under the guidance of former Buffalo Sabre Grant Ledyard.
Nice work guys!
